While RUBIX was in the mixing stage, I wrote a new track for Aurora Dream titled “A New Infinite.” The song explored a different creative direction, blending melodic, hook-driven guitars with Nintendo-inspired electronic textures and high-energy, exaggerated beats. Influenced by internet culture and the emerging hyperpop movement of the time, the track aimed to push the project into new sonic territory.
After completing the song, I shared it with Simon and proposed featuring both him and Plini as dual guest collaborators. They were immediately excited by the idea, and their contributions elevated the track significantly. Simon once again handled the mixing, with Moises D’ Bello supporting the mastering process. “A New Infinite” was released as a single in 2023, followed by “Comfy,” and later the full RUBIX album. In less than a year, the track surpassed 300,000 streams, becoming one of the most celebrated releases among Aurora Dream listeners.
