Following the release of “A New Infinite,” I continued exploring new creative directions with Aurora Dream, which led to the release of “Comfy.” This single holds a special place in my discography and features the exceptional Ichika Nito, whose delicate and expressive guitar work added a unique dimension to both the track and its accompanying music video. “Comfy” blends elements of prog rock, math rock, pop, and disco, resulting in a sound that is both relaxed and intricately layered.
The music video, produced by 4102 Productions, draws visual inspiration from Venezuelan artist Carlos Cruz-Diez, serving as a subtle homage to my roots. Its vibrant and kinetic aesthetic complements the track’s laid-back energy, creating an immersive experience for listeners and viewers alike. In less than a year, “Comfy” surpassed 90,000 streams, becoming a fan favorite and further reinforcing Aurora Dream’s distinct identity. Collaborating with Ichika, alongside an outstanding team including Randy Slaugh, Simon Grove, and others, was an inspiring process that elevated the project beyond what I initially envisioned.
