After exploring a wide range of styles within Aurora Dream, I felt compelled to revisit “Parallel Colors” in a way that reflected my deep nostalgia for classic Pokémon soundtracks—music that played a key role in shaping my approach to melodic instrumental composition. This connection to retro gaming inspired the creation of “Parallel 8its,” a remix that reimagines the original track as an 8-bit journey.
Collaborating with Kevin Weaver, a YouTuber and 8-bit music enthusiast, we crafted a version that captures the spirit of vintage gaming while integrating my signature guitar style. Mixed and mastered by Moises D’ Bello, “Parallel 8its” goes beyond a traditional remix, serving as a tribute to the sounds that influenced my early creative years. The track resonated with listeners who appreciate the balance between modern production and nostalgic aesthetics, adding a playful yet meaningful dimension to the Aurora Dream catalog. This project allowed me to merge my passion for gaming and music into a piece that feels both timeless and refreshingly new.
