“Parallel Colors” is a single I originally wrote in 2016 while completing my studies at Full Sail University. At the time, it represented my most accomplished work and marked a turning point in my growth as a guitarist and songwriter. The song carries deep personal significance, as it helped me navigate one of the most challenging periods of my life and ultimately laid the foundation for what would become Aurora Dream.
In 2021, I chose to honor the original release of “Parallel Colors (2016 Version)” by inviting Simon Grove to remix the track for a 2023 re-release. Simon embraced the idea and suggested replacing the original programmed drums with live drums performed by Chris Allison, bringing a renewed sense of energy and realism to the song. I also collaborated with Moises D’ Bello for the remastering process, whose work elevated the production far beyond its original form, resulting in a refreshed and emotionally resonant release.
