“SHARKY” has long been one of the standout tracks from my album DUNNY TUNES, and in 2021 I felt it was time to revisit and reimagine it. This led to the creation of “SHARKY 2.0,” a refined remake that builds upon the original while introducing new energy and depth. The track features Chris Allison on live drums, with Simon Grove handling guitar and bass reamping as well as mixing.
Mangus Steed, whose bass performance was central to the original version, returned to deliver his signature sound, adding even greater impact to the new arrangement. Moises D’ Bello handled the mastering process, ensuring the track achieved a polished and dynamic final sound. Released in 2023, “SHARKY 2.0” preserves the spirit of the original while elevating it to a new level. The release was met with strong positive reception, reinforcing its status as a fan favorite and marking an important milestone in my solo career.
